Some of the courseware modules included in this initiative are the intellectual property of faculty authors. Other modules are copyrighted by Penn State. In both cases the authors and Penn State's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences license the modules linked to this site for non-commercial use and re-use, including the development of derivative works.
